Planning tip:
From Hvar Town the sun sets behind the Pakleni Islands. In June and July that is around 20:30; by mid-September it is closer to 19:15. Ask the skipper to leave about two hours before sunset so you reach a quiet bay in golden light.

How do we coordinate without my partner knowing?
Send your request through the form and mention that it is a surprise. Replies come by email, so nothing shows up on a shared phone call. If you ask for champagne or flowers, the skipper can have them on board before departure and agree a signal with you for when to give you privacy.
Can you arrange a photographer?
Often, yes. Hvar has local photographers who shoot surprise proposals, either from a second boat or from the shore. Mention it in your request and the skipper will tell you what is possible and what it costs.
What if the weather is bad?
The skipper checks the forecast before the trip. If wind or rain makes the sea unpleasant, they will suggest another evening. Cancellation terms are set by the skipper or boat company that runs your trip. You see them in the offer before you pay, including what happens if bad weather stops the trip.
